The Ballad of the Two Marys tells the tale of Jesus' crucifixion through the eyes of Mary the mother of Jesus & Mary Magdelene. The two Marys sing a tender lullaby about Jesus' life story. The chorus sings parts of the Lacrimosa text from the Latin requiem mass and the phrase "The Son of Man will suffer at their hands." The combination of these elements provide a somber reminder of our savior's life and ultimate fate. This is an emotional and unforgettable piece of music with a powerful message.
