Circles was commissioned to celebrate the retirement of Dr. David Circle from the Blue Valley School District in Overland Park, KS. This four movement suite takes inspiration from Dr. Circle's surname and paints four distinctly unique sound portraits. This version for wind ensemble was completed at the request of Dr. Craig Miller in 2013 for the Park Hill South Symphonic Band's performance at the Missouri Music Educator's 2014 Convention.
